84 Lumber Promotes Scalise to Director of Inventory Management

Eighty Four, Penn. — 84 Lumber announced the promotion of Rich Scalise to director of inventory management. He is located at the 84 Lumber Team Headquarters in Eighty Four, 84 LumberPennsylvania.

Scalise is a 13-year veteran of 84 Lumber. He started his career with the company as a manager trainee in the Imperial, Pennsylvania store before moving on to positions in store management, government sales, pricing, and purchasing. Most recently, Scalise was the lead hardlines buyer and pricing manager.

“Rich is a wonderful example of our ‘promote from within’ culture,” said 84 Lumber Owner and President Maggie Hardy Magerko. “In every position he has held with 84 Lumber, he has played an important role in supporting our stores. I look forward to the fresh insights and new ideas he’ll be bringing to the director of inventory management position.”

Scalise takes over from Tom McCartney, who was recently promoted to vice president of human resources.

Scalise attended Waynesburg University, and currently resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
