Beacon to Buy Statewide Wholesale of Colorado
Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. announced today that it has acquired Statewide Wholesale, a distributor of residential and commercial roofing and related products located in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 1983 by Randy and Dawn Rehbein, the Statewide acquisition provides Beacon with a new location on Denver’s south side to better serve customers across the whole Denver metropolitan area.
Statewide founder Randy Rehbein, who will remain with the Company, said in a press release, “Dawn and I are thrilled to pass the torch to Beacon, which presents a tremendous opportunity for Statewide’s loyal customers and employees. We have watched Beacon quickly become the powerhouse in the Denver market, and we look forward to being able to benefit from Beacon’s footprint to better serve our customers with broader product offerings and even more efficient deliveries. We chose to align with Beacon because Beacon most closely matched our culture and values and shares our belief that success comes from hard work and great customer service. I am very excited for Statewide’s future.”
Paul Isabella, Beacon’s CEO and President, emphasized the strategic fit of the acquisition and the compatibility of the two companies and stated, “we are very excited that Statewide has joined the Beacon family. Randy and Dawn Rehbein have built a great company with a strong customer base and experienced employees. Combining Statewide with our existing Roof Depot and new RSG branches gives us an unmatched footprint in the vibrant and fast-growing Denver market, and Statewide’s strategic location gives us an even better ability to more efficiently serve customers on Denver’s south side where there is strong commercial and residential development. By closing our third strategic acquisition this month, Beacon has demonstrated that it has the financial and operational capacity to build on the momentum of the RSG deal by continuing to add high-quality companies to our team. I look for that trend to continue in 2016.”
