Big L Lumber Celebrates 50 Years

On July 29, 2015 the Big L Corporation celebrated its 50th Anniversary of being in business with a gala event. Many past employees and suppliers joined along with current staff to mark the evening’s festivities. Kenneth W. Lehman, current President and his brother Max Lehman, presented employees with years of service awards including one employee that is still working for the company after 43 years. Founder of the Corporation, Kenneth J. Lehman, presented the current leadership with a historical lumber cart from the 1800’s, and everyone present received a bound Big L Lumber logobook with a review of the last 50 years of the company. The evening was capped off by comedian Pat McGann, who had had two appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Big L Corporation has corporate headquarters in Sheridan, Mich., with locations in Grand Ledge, Greenville, Clarksville, and Stanwood. Big L services the State of Michigan for both the DIY and contractor trade.
