Boral Increases Production of Versetta Stone
ROSWELL, Ga—Boral Stone Products LLC has significantly increased the production of Boral Versetta Stone manufactured stone veneer with the opening of a new production line at the company’s manufacturing facility in Napa, CA. The new line, which shipped its first order in June, will provide Boral Versetta Stone to building products distributors in the Western United States. The product will also continue to be made at Boral’s manufacturing facility in Chester, S.C., which will now service distributors in the Eastern United States.
Boral Versetta Stone is a mortarless stone veneer that provides the beauty of authentic stone masonry without the added skill and time required for installation by a mason. Each panel can be installed easily with nails or screws and features an integrated moisture management system.
The new manufacturing line in Napa, CA combines the experience of a very skilled production team with state-of-the-art automation processes to ensure a high-quality and consistent product. The new facility is producing the full Boral Versetta Stone product line, which includes three colors and two textures. In addition, new color offerings are being developed and are expected to launch later this year.
According to Brian Below, President of Boral’s Light Building Products Division, adding the Western manufacturing facility provides much needed production capabilities to further support the rapid growth of Boral Versetta Stone products on a national level.
“By adding the Napa manufacturing line we have significantly increased production capacity to meet demand for Boral Versetta Stone,” Below said. The added capability allows us the freedom to grow the product line in the market at a faster pace while providing the ability to introduce new offerings into the product line. We also are benefitting from the very skilled and experienced work force at the Napa facility which has been making Cultured Stone by Boral for more than 50 years. It’s very rare that you can get a new line up and running as quickly as the Napa team has done.”
