CPG International Appoints Hendrickson as Board Chair

SKOKIE, Ill. — CPG International, manufacturer of low maintenance, exterior building products such as AZEK and TimberTech, has announced the appointment of Gary Hendrickson, as Chairman of the Board.

Hendrickson is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Valspar Corporation, who guided the company to the acquisition by Sherwin-Williams for $11.3 billion.

“We are thrilled to have Gary lead our board as he brings a depth of experience from his work with Valspar and through his involvement with other external boards,” said Jesse Singh, CEO of CPG International. “We look forward to achieving our next level of success with his guidance.”

Hendrickson joined Valspar’s packaging coatings business in 1994 and has held a variety of senior leadership roles in the company. He joined the Board of Directors in 2008 and became chairman in 2012. Prior to joining Valspar, Hendrickson served for 11 years in the U.S. Navy as Lieutenant Commander.
