Gillman Home Center purchases Aurora Lumber

AURORA, Ind. — Gillman Home Center of Batesville, Ind. has announced that it has purchased Aurora Lumber.

Curtis Gillman, of Gillman Home Center said in a press release that the company “plans to build on the valued aspects of Aurora that contributed to its success, including retaining its experienced staff, while enhancing it with Gillman’s innovative merchandise mix and competitive pricing thanks to its increased buying power.”

Aurora Lumber was founded more than 150 years ago and for the past 50 years has been owned by the Petty family.
