GIVING BACK: The Renewable Backyard

“It went over very well,” Carlson adds. “The museum only changes out its exhibits about every five to 10 years. To attract guests, they have to keep coming out with new exhibits every so often, and this is one that they have been wanting to build for a while.”

Shape-GardenBecause Drexel Building Supply does not spend heavily on marketing, it prefers to get its name out by giving back to the community. The Renewable Backyard could not have arrived at a better time considering Drexel had just opened its fifth location in Wrightstown that April. “Since opening the new location, we have worked on building our relationships with contractors and customers,” Carlson says. “It’s now given us a unique opportunity to give back to that community when we never had that opportunity before. We are expanding our horizons and giving back to more communities more than we ever have — which is interesting in itself.”
