The streets near HDW’s Houston Distribution Center are flooded.

Kenny Beauvais, President and CEO of Hardware Distribution Warehouses released the following statement on the Houston Distribution Center located in Houston, Texas:

“Our Houston Distribution center has not received any damage from Hurricane Harvey currently.  However as the storm continues to remain in the area flood waters continue to rise.  For the safety of our employees in the Houston area, we have closed the Houston DC for today – Monday August 28th. At this point in time we are glad to report that all Houston employees and their families are safe – however several have lost their homes and suffered property loss.

HDW’s other distribution centers located in Greenwood, Miss. and Shreveport, La. will begin shipping orders to Houston legacy dealers immediately. There will be no interruption of service to HDW dealers, the company said in a press release.
