James Hardie Joins NLBMDA’s Manufacturers and Services Council

JamesHardieLogoWASHINGTON, DC—The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) announced today that James Hardie is the newest member of the association’s Manufacturers and Services Council (MSC). The council is composed of the leading building material manufacturers and service providers serving the LBM industry.

NLBMDA’s MSC members are established industry leaders who supply products and services to lumber and building material dealers and regional chains across the nation. The dedicated members of the council share a commitment to promoting and enhancing the success of independent dealers and regional chains.

James Hardie has operations all over the world including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and now Asia. In every country in which they operate, their goal is to remain at the forefront of the fiber-cement industry, capitalizing on our global leadership in products, manufacturing and technology for both new home construction and remodeling.

Innovation is vital to maintaining their pre-eminent position in the fiber-cement industry. Consequently, they invest heavily in research and development, with a special emphasis on product quality and production efficiency to develop durable and low maintenance siding products, backerboard and pipe.
