Parr Lumber Acquires Country Homes Building Supply
Hillsboro, Ore.— Parr Lumber announced today the acquisition of Country Homes Building Supply in Spokane, Washington. The single location of Country Home Building Supply was established in 1947. It marks the second location for Parr Lumber in the Spokane market. Both Parr Lumber and Country Homes Supply are family-owned Northwest companies and combined have been serving their communities for more than 155 years. “Our two companies have enjoyed a mutual respect for one another, sharing the same values and dedication to our customers. We look forward to working with the CHS team and continuing the tradition of exemplary service customers have come to expect,” commented Doug Wirges, CEO of Parr Lumber.
Although the look of the store may change, many things will remain the same. Parr Lumber will continue to offer the same products and services. With the retention of CHS employees, customers will continue to see the familiar faces of the CHS team members. Parr is planning a customer and community event in the spring to celebrate their newest location.
