The two newest doors from Safe-Way are the Ambient Series (shown) and the Ventana Collection. Both new doors feature an R-value of 17.86, which the company says is one of the highest in the industry. The Ambient Series is designed with high-density polyurethane foam to provide added strength, performance, and durability. Ambient doors are available in several models including the Deluxe Plus and Provincial lines and are offered in a variety of colors. Kingspan’s GreenGuard Insulation Board
Kingspan Insulation is expanding its commercial product offering by introducing GreenGuard Type VII XPS Insulation Board for high loadbearing engineered applications requiring insulation with a minimum compressive strength of 60 PSI. The new GreenGuard Type VII XPS Insulation Board offers an R-value of 5.0 per inch of thickness and meets ASTM C578 Type VII requirements. The product is designed to retain its insulating properties over time, be high water resistant and HCFC free. Simpson Strong-Tie® Deck-Drive™ DWP Screws in New Sizes
Simpson Strong-Tie’s Deck-Drive DWP wood screws are now available in new sizes. The stainless steel fasteners are designed for use in decks, docks, boardwalks, and highexposure environments that require corrosion resistance and higher loads. Now in larger sizes, the screws are also recommended for structural connections. Ply Gem Roofing Engineered Slate is now available in four color families: Sagebrush, Brownstone, Pewter, and Charcoal; and three accent color schemes: Jade, Garnet, and Amethyst. Ply Gem Roofing Engineered Cedar is now available in two color families: Weathered Gray and Weathered Brown. Customized colors and blends can be also ordered. Both Ply Gem Roofing Engineered Slate shingles and Cedar Shakes are formulated from recycled resins and earth-mined minerals. In addition, the products were put through extensive weather and environmental testing and reallife simulations to ensure they will perform as designed, with resistance to fading and distortion, as well as impact and damage. According to the manufacturer, they can withstand wind loads of up to 150 mph, golf ballsized hailstones, and have a Class A fire-rating. TYTAN® Professional Fire Block 113 by Selena USA
TYTAN Professional Fire Block 113 is a one-component polyurethane foam sealant that meets all fire-blocking and draft-stopping requirements. In addition to high ambient temperatures, Fire Block 113 is designed to work with a can temperature of 113°F. Fire Block 113 features TYTAN’s Smart Foam Technology, which the company claims makes it safe for use around windows and doors.
