R.P. Lumber Purchases Southeast Missouri Builder’s Supply

R.P. Lumber, a full-service retail home center and building materials supplier has expanded its reach into Southeast Missouri with a purchase of Southeast Missouri Builders Supply in Cape rp-lumber-logoGirardeau, the Southeast Missourian reports.

The purchase is the third R.P. Lumber move in Southeast Missouri. The company bought Pocahontas Lumber and Hardware in Jackson last year and Kelso Supply Co. in Kelso this summer. Like the two other acquisitions, all the Southeast Missouri Builders Supply staff has been retained.

R.P. Lumber Co., Inc. was founded in January, 1977, by Robert L. Plummer in Staunton, Ill. The company now has 53 locations in Illinois and12 locations in Missouri, serving DIY customers as well as residential and commercial builders.
