Radloff Retires From Bliffert Lumber After 45 Years

Bliffert_LumberMILWAUKEE — Bliffert Lumber & Fuel Co., a family owned and operated company that has been in business in the Milwaukee area since the late 1800s, today announced the retirement of David Radloff after 45 years with the company. Radloff started in 1971 and in 1977 became manager of the Oak Creek, Wis. location.

With Radloff’s retirement, Bliffert’s current management structure will change as they fill his former position. Morgan Avenue location manager, Josh Brown, vice president – sales, will head the Oak Creek location. Chris Hegeman will move from the Chambers Street, Milwaukee location and be promoted to manager at Morgan Avenue.

Bliffert Lumber & Fuel Co. owns and operates eight locations in the Milwaukee Metro area and employs over 140 people. Today the company is comprised of traditional industrial yards, new construction yards, retail yards, and a full line hardware store.
