Q: In order of importance, what are the top three things you look for from a supplier?
A: I find that quality, on-time deliveries, and price are the most important way for a supplier to contribute to the success of a remodeler customer.

Q: Describe your best LBM vendor and why they are your favorite dealer to work with.
A: Florence Building Materials always works well with us and offers superior service and contractor support.

Q: When was the last time you changed vendors and why did you decide to make the change?
A: The last time I changed vendors was five years ago. We did so because of a lack of service from the previous vendor.

Q: When and why would you accept a meeting from a new supplier or vendor?
A: I would be willing to accept a meeting from a new supplier or vendor if they carry different products.

Q: What is the number one problem that keeps you up at night?
A: Rising overhead costs is the one thing that keeps me up most at night. Balancing rising costs with sustainable business growth is a priority.

Q: What do you see as the biggest opportunity for you as a professional remodeler?
A: The biggest opportunity we can have at DG is to grow the team to handle more projects more efficiently.

Q: What do you wish LBM suppliers understood about your business and how they could help you?
A: LBM dealers need to understand that they need to support us and train us in order for us to grow. As my company grows, we will purchase more, but we’ll need the support and training to do so.

Q: What building products (if any) do you buy installed?
A: None.
