Darien, CT — Ring’s End, Inc. has announced that it has acquired the business assets of Tuxis Lumber in Madison, Conn. Ring’s End said on a release on its website that the company “is excited to expand its presence in the shoreline communities and build upon a 56-year legacy established by Tuxis Lumber.”

The new location in Madison will be the eighth full service lumberyard for Ring’s End, which has been family owned and operated since 1902. The company’s portfolio includes 11 free-standing paint centers, a commercial paint and lacquer facility, custom millwork shop, a centralized distribution warehouse and an education center.

“We’re looking forward to the opportunity to fulfill the building and home improvement needs of the Madison community. Our priority during the transition is to lessen the impact on area customers as we implement new systems, increase product offerings and provide additional services. We have the benefit of drawing upon the resources of our nearby store in Branford to meet inventory needs and delivery schedules. We’re very excited to become part of the Madison community and will work hard to earn their trust,” said Bill Ryan, General Manager of the new Ring’s End Madison location.
