Terry Lumber and Supply celebrates 75 years

By / 1 year ago

Akron.com reports that Peninsula, Ohio’s Terry Lumber and Supply recently celebrated a diamond anniversary—75 years in business. Terry’s Lumber and Supply was founded by John “Terry” Montaquila in 1940 as Terry Coal and Supply. The business was moved to Peninsula in 1986 when the Cuyahoga Valley National Park was formed. Montaquila also purchased Peninsula Hardwoods, a milling operation in Peninsula.

Today, Terry Lumber and Peninsula Hardwoods is operated by Montaquila’s grandsons, Terry Lahoski and John Lahoski, and his daughter, Judith Montaquila Lahoski. The business offers lumber, hardwood mouldings, plywood, decking materials, windows and doors, hardware, paints and stains, and various specialty items, Akron.com reports.
