Two New Hires at Mid-State Lumber

Mid-State LumberBranchburg, NJ — Mid-State Lumber recently announced the hiring of Ray Unick as Purchasing Agent and Jason Blevins as Sales Territory Manager.

Unick has been in the building materials industry since 1978. He has spent six years in retail, and 35 years on the wholesale distribution side, specializing in the mid-Atlantic markets. His prior life experiences include being a Veteran of the United States Navy, where he served as a Gunners-mate from 1972-1976. He also has worked in ore mines before entering the building materials industry. Some of Unick’s hobbies are listening to blues music, visiting New York City, and spending time with his wife and two children.

Blevins will specialize in Southeastern PA sales at MSL. He started in the building products industry with in-home remodeling sales. Blevins owned a remodeling business in Virginia Beach, until moving to Pennsylvania to raise his family. From there, he began a career in territory management with Environmentally Safe Products. Prior to joining Mid-State, Blevins was employed by Royal Building Products as a Territory Manager. Additionally, Blevins has been an Air Traffic Controller in the Navy for 10 years. He has also authored “The One Day Close” and currently teaches a class on sales once a month.
