The West Coast Lumber & Building Material Association (WCBLMA) elected and installed officers and directors for 2017, at the organization’s annual convention in October in Monterey, CA.
Elected President for 2017 is Victor Fresca, Vice President of Dixieline Lumber in San Diego. He has been with Dixieline Lumber since 1991 in various positions and is currently the Area Vice President for Southern/Central California and Arizona local markets.
The convention also honored Sean Fogarty, Osborne Lumber, Newark, Calif., for his service to WCLBMA as President in 2015-2016.

The Second Growth President, the organization‘s young industry professionals division, will be elected in December, will serve on the Board of Directors with voice but without vote.
The West Coast Lumber & Building Material Association is a regional industry trade organization and will be celebrating its 100th anniversary as a trade group in 2017. It is one of the largest regional lumber and building materials organizations in the country. The association is active in government affairs at the local, state and national levels, offers a wide range of educational and member services, and administers a number of member benefits programs.
Although the majority of members are in California, WCLBMA has members in 23 states, China and Canada. WCLBMA has approximately 330 member firms in lumber and building material dealer and associate categories.
WCLBMA is one of 13 regional trade organizations affiliated with the National Lumber and Building Materials Dealers Association, headquartered in Washington DC. It represents more than 3,000 lumber and building materials dealers nationwide.
