The new JELD-WEN® Siteline wood and clad-wood window and patio door line offers strong options for remodeling, new construction and light commercial, with products that are available in a wide variety of styles, ranging from traditional to contemporary.
Innovative perfomance features and great glass options
All JELD-WEN Siteline wood and clad-wood windows and patio doors come standard with LoE³-366® glass, which helps to block harmful infrared rays. [glossary slug=’loe3-366-glass’ /] offers increased thermal performance and is 2016 ENERGY STAR® certified. It keeps the heat on the proper side of the glass: outside in the summer and inside in the winter. The thermally improved engineered sill and frame designs feature innovative advancements for added energy efficiencies and durability.
Another benefit of the upgraded glass package is the ease of cleaning with Neat® glass, which harnesses the sun’s UV rays to loosen dirt from the glass, allowing rainwater to naturally clean the surface.
Preserve® film is factory-applied to both the interior and exterior surfaces of the glass, protecting it from debris and scratches that can occur during shipping and handling. It’s easy to remove and eliminates extra cleaning time.
Other glass options include a wide variety of textures, patterns or colors designed for added privacy or a unique look.
Efficiency is also enhanced on the double-hung window through a reinforced sill design, which features composite interior chamber construction for added strength and durability. The casement features a deeper sash backset construction, while the extruded sash and frame maximize reliability, providing outstanding energy advantages.
“We’ve tested everything from air, water, and structural elements to forced entry to ensure that this is a high performing product offering. The improved styles and overall aesthetics include new clean sightlines as well as architecturally focused details and options,” said Bob Merrill, JELD-WEN Executive VP of Sales.
