By / March 30, 2017

The National Lumber and Building Materials Dealers Association hosted 175 attendees at the 2017 Spring Meeting and Legislative Conference this week in Washington, D.C. As part of the meeting, NLBMDA members took to Capitol Hill to meet with their lawmakers about several issues affecting the lumber and building material (LBM) industry.

Issues of priority to NLBMDA and its members include regulatory reform, renewal of the U.S. / Canada Softwood Lumber Agreement, preservation of the mortgage interest reduction, and estate tax repeal. Look for LBM Journal‘s May issue for a complete conference recap.
