Capital Lumber Co. Purchases James Plywood

capital1Phoenix—Capital Lumber Company has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of James Plywood in Salt Lake City, Utah, the company announced in a press release. Capital will integrate the James Plywood operations to its 41 South 5100 West location within the next few months.

The acquisition, which will be completed by the end of July, will add products including particle board, MDF and plywood to Capital’s offering. The additional product depth will also provide a combined service model to the customer base.

Earlier today, Capital announced that it would distribute Feeney products. Last month, Capital Lumber announced that it had added LP SmartSide to its lineup.

In May, Capital expanded with a distribution building in Phoenix.
