Do it Best Event Nets New Bikes for Kids

Do It Best Corp

INDIANAPOLIS —Members of the Sales and Business Development team at Do it Best Corp. joined forces this week to assemble and donate two dozen new children’s bicycles to an Indianapolis community center.

Representatives of the Hawthorne Community Center, located just west of downtown Indianapolis, were on hand with a number of children served by the center to accept the new bikes from the Sales team at a presentation ceremony on Thursday. The donation was the culmination of a team-building event the group conducted as part of their National Sales Meeting preceding the 2015 Do it Best May Market, May 15-18 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

“The National Sales Meeting demonstrates how important it is for us as a co-op to invest in our team’s training so we can better serve our member-owners,” explained Do it Best Corp. Vice President of Sales and Business Development Jay Brown. “It is also important for us to show our gratitude to the City of Indianapolis for hosting our semi-annual markets for nearly 40 years. And we are honored to give back to the people of Indianapolis.”

“We are very excited to partner with the wonderful team at Do it Best Corp.,” added Diane Arnold, Executive Director of Hawthorne Community Center. “Each year, we hold a community bicycle round-up where we invite children from our surrounding neighborhoods to participate in a variety of bike-themed events. We will make great use of these new bicycles, and we are thankful to everyone at Do it Best Corp. for making this donation possible.”
