Drexel Building Supply opens seventh location

Drexel Building Supply has opened a Columbus, Wis. location.  The 14,000 square foot store that opened May 1 will be the seventh Drexel location in Wisconsin. Other locations include: Berlin, Brookfield, Campbellsport, Kiel, Sheboygan Falls and Wrightstown. The Columbus location includes a lumberyard, a design center for cabinetry, countertops, and home design services.

This new location will meet the growing demand for building supplies in the greater Madison area as Drexel serves new residential, remodeling, multi-family, and commercial construction clients. Drexel has a strong presence throughout eastern and southeastern Wisconsin.

Locally-owned Drexel has operated in Wisconsin for more than three decades, beginning in 1985 with its flagship location in Campbellsport, Wis.—formerly named Campbellsport Building Supply. Owner & Solution Provider, Joel Fleischman states, “Drexel has grown by providing a world class buying experience to our customers. We wouldn’t be here today if it was not for the local communities and the local builders. They have not only become our customers, but our friends.”

The Columbus location will be led by Team Leader Keith Batenhorst. “We strive to have fun every day, work very hard, and take care of our clients.  We pride ourselves on our relationships with our contractors and homeowners.  We are actively involved in all the communities that we call ‘HOME’ and our team is looking forward to becoming a part of Columbus community,” Batenhorst says.

Drexel supplies and delivers building materials, cabinets, countertops, windows, doors, millwork, decking, roofing, and siding, in addition to home design services. Drexel was awarded the Milwaukee Journal Top Work Places Award eight years in a row 2011-2018.
