Philadelphia — New members of the LBM Century Club were honored at the LBM Strategies Conference 2018 Thursday at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing. New members inducted this year were Henry Poor Lumber of Lafayette, Ind. and Burton Lumber of Salt Lake City.

Henry Poor Lumber was founded in 1918 and was originally known as Ed Munger Lumber Co. The business is owned by Jay Andrew, who purchased it from his father, Jim.

Burton Lumber, owned by brothers Jeff and Dan Burton, began in 1911 when Willard C. Burton became the President of the company.

The LBM Century Club, which honors lumber and building materials dealers that have served their communities for more than 100 years, is sponsored by Epicor.

All members of the LBM Century Club who were in attendance at this year’s LBM Strategies Conference were recognized at Thursday evening’s cocktail reception.
