This year’s LBM Strategies Conference takes place at the Omni Hotel in Frisco, Texas (home of the Dallas Cowboys) on Sept. 6-8. Conference attendees will hear from LBM dealers who have made their companies Best Places to Work in their respective regions, who will share what they have done to attract and retain great team members.
You’ll hear from Erin Plummer from Maine’s Hancock Lumber who will share the first in a session called “The Law of Attraction: How to Make Your Company a Best Place to Work.” In this session, Erin will take attendees behind the scenes and hear how Hancock Lumber has built their culture around employee engagement. The sixth-generation, family-owned company has been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work” in Maine for three consecutive years. Erin will share insights, attitudes and practices that draw great people, enlist everyone as a leader, and make every employee part of Team Hancock’s success.
The second in the series of “The Law of Attraction: How to Make Your Company a Best Place to Work” will be led by Eric Ziedrich of California’s Healdsburg Lumber. Eric says, “A great company is defined by its people, and the staff at Healdsburg Lumber is the finest in our industry.” The company was recently voted by its employees as a “Best Place to Work” in California’s wine country. Learn in Eric’s session how this iconic company, that’s been serving its community since 1876, attracts quality candidates, and keeps them happy and productive.
