Mead Lumber to acquire Iowa’s H.L. Munn Lumber

Mead Lumber has entered into an agreement to acquire H.L. Munn Lumber in Ames, Iowa. Founded in 1891, H.L. Munn Lumber is a full service lumber and building materials supplier serving professional builders and commercial contractors in the greater Ames and Des Moines markets.

I am very excited about our future with Mead Lumber,” said H.L. Munn Owner and President Erik Munn. The business will continue to operate under the name H.L. Munn Lumber, Erik Munn and his management team will continue to lead day-to-day operations.

Mead Lumber now has 44 locations in Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wyoming, including four truss and wall panel manufacturing plants.
