NyloBoard Announces New Hires
NyloBoard announced a pair of new hires this week. NyloBoard uses a patented process to transform 100% recycled carpet fiber into eco-friendly building products.
Gary Smith has been hired as vice president of sales and marketing. Doug Morse, president and COO, NyloBoard said “We are excited to welcome Gary to the NyloBoard team. His wealth of sales and management experience, paired with his keen industry knowledge, makes him a key asset to our team as we continue to grow and expand within the market. Leading NyloBoard’s marketing and sales initiatives, Smith will be tasked with managing customer relations, directing and coordinating company sales functions, expanding distribution and serving as a member of the leadership team.
Smith has 35 years of sales and management experience. In his most recent position, he served as the vice president of sales at Fairway Building Products in Mooresville, NC. His experience includes direct sales and business development in the United States and Canada. While at Fairway Building Products, he was tasked with motivating, training and developing sales personnel while maintaining continuous growth and profit. He has also held leadership roles at Precision Composites, LP and ABTco. Smith is a graduate of The University of Kansas.
In a second release, NyloBoard announced that Sarah Johnson has joined the company as marketing communications coordinator. The position includes coordinating and managing multiple aspects of NyloBoard’s online and offline communications initiatives.
“We are pleased to welcome Sarah to NyloBoard,” said Morse. “As we continue to grow and expand distribution, her skills and experience make her a key addition to our team.”
Johnson has six years of marketing and communications experience. In her most recent position, she served as the director of marketing for The Nichols Company, a commercial real estate firm based in Charlotte, NC. Johnson is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, Advertising.
