PLM CEO to receive leadership award
John K. Smith, President and CEO of Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company, will receive the Distinguished Leadership Award from the Insurance Society of Philadelphia in November. Each year, at its annual Independence Gala, the Insurance Society recognizes an insurance industry professional for demonstrating exemplary leadership, promoting insurance and associated industries, and providing ongoing support to the community and charitable enterprises. While the Independence Gala will honor Smith and celebrate the passion and commitment of the insurance industry, the night truly serves to support the industry by benefitting the Insurance Society Scholarship Fund.
