Poulsbo, Wash. lumberyard closing after 60 years

James Lumber and Ace Hardware in Poulsbo, Wash. is closing its doors after 60 years. Owner Mitch James told the Kitsap Sun that a number of reasons factored into the closing, but in the end “it’s a financial decision,” he told the paper.

The lumberyard that originally opened in 1956, has been in the James family since 1968, the Sun reported. The company used its Facebook page to announce the closing and to thank customers.
