Report: Pick-Up Projected in Home Improvement Activity

lira_2015_q2_fullsizeHarvard University’s Joint Center for Housing Studies released a report last week indicating that home remodeling activity will increase moving into 2016. A major driver for home improvement activity is existing home sales.

Chris Herbert, managing director of the Joint Center, says that “recent homebuyers typically spend about a third more on home improvements than non-movers.”
