Sherwood Lumber Opens New Distribution Center

MELVILLE, N.Y. — Sherwood Lumber Corp., has announced the grand opening of the company’s newest distribution center located in Northern California.

“Sherwood Lumber opened the doors to its first distribution center back in 1956, and today the company operates a myriad of regional distribution and reload facilities from coast-to-coast providing first-class customer service and products to our diverse customer base,” said Kyle Little, Chief Operating Officer of Sherwood Lumber. “This expansion is very exciting for our company, and is the second phase of our regional growth plan which was first announced with the opening of our California sales office on Jan. 9 of this year.”

The company’s new Stockton facility features an 80,000 square foot warehouse, and four acres of outside storage and staging area for their Engineered Wood Products “cut & pack” services. Stockton will offer a range of products for wholesale distribution including: western plywood, sanded plywood, concrete form, pressure treated plywood, fire treated plywood, FSC plywood, OSB, dimension lumber, fire treated lumber, cedar shakes & shingles, engineered wood products, glulam beams & columns.
