US LBM‘s Direct Cabinet Sales division has acquired Gold & Reiss of Brooklyn, N.Y., the company announced Friday. Simon Eidlisz will continue leading day-to-day operations with his existing team in Brooklyn. Gold & Reiss merge shared services in manufacturing, shipping and sales with the Direct Cabinet Sales division of US LBM.
Gold & Reiss has been manufacturing and installing a diverse portfolio of cabinetry for more than 35 years, including traditional wood, acrylic, veneers, 3D laminates, and textured Melamine’s. Selling primarily to apartment property managers, Gold & Reiss maintains a showroom in Brooklyn, N.Y. as well as a manufacturing facility in Union, N.J. covering clientele in New York City, Long Island, and the Eastern part of New Jersey.
“We are very excited to have the Gold & Reiss team join the Direct Cabinet Sales family. Their production capabilities will allow DCS to expand volume output and our service platform,” said Joe DeMussi, President of Direct Cabinet Sales. “This acquisition will give us a solid presence in Brooklyn, support the organic growth we have already experienced in the NYC market, and allow us to diversify our customer base into a previously unpenetrated property management market.”
Direct Cabinet Sales designs, installs and distributes kitchen cabinetry and related products to residential, commercial and new construction contractors in the Northeast and Florida markets. DCS operates 5 showrooms in New Jersey, a showroom in Boca Raton, Fla. and a distribution center in New Jersey.
